Role Overview:
Baltic Amadeus client is looking for a Senior Business and Data Analyst under a B2B (business-to-business) contract to support Treasury, securitisation reporting, and data governance initiatives in the banking domain. The role focuses on strengthening BCBS239-compliant documentation, improving data lineage, supporting regulatory reporting, and ensuring accurate business and data requirements mapping across cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Document data lineage, data governance processes, and reporting-related data flows
- Support UAT planning, execution, documentation, and potential automation activities
- Perform source-to-target data mapping and review data requirements for reporting initiatives
- Support data quality testing, validation, and data reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with Treasury, Product Owners, BI, and IT teams to ensure delivery of securitisation-related initiatives
- Maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, lineage diagrams, and business process documentation
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience in banking, regulatory reporting, and securitisation-related reporting structures
- Knowledge of COREP and ESMA securitisation reporting
- Strong proficiency with SQL
- Experience working with DWVault and BDS queries
- Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data quality testing, and data validation
- Experience with data governance, data lineage documentation, and reporting architecture documentation
- Ability to document business processes using BPMN 2.0
- Experience with business requirements analysis, mapping, and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English, spoken and written
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS
- Familiarity with Data Mesh
- Experience with test automation scripting
- Experience with BCBS239 data governance frameworks
