Role Overview:
We are looking for a Flexcube System Analyst to support a Core Banking team focused on developing, improving, and maintaining the Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) platform. The role is techno-functional, combining strong banking domain knowledge with hands-on FLEXCUBE experience. The position will contribute to core functionality improvements, migration initiatives, and ongoing transformation programs, with a focus on reducing technical debt and strengthening platform-level capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) core banking functionality and configurations.
- Work with product setup, parameters, events, accounting roles, and business rules.
- Support migration initiatives and broader banking transformation programs.
- Analyze FLEXCUBE architecture, including databases, applications, and interfaces.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
- Analyze SOAP/REST web services, XML messages, and UNIX/Linux logs.
- Read and interpret technical documentation and production logs.
- Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Support production environments and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Strong understanding of core banking operations, including account lifecycle, interest and fee calculations, accounting entries, and regulatory reporting concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS).
- Good understanding of FLEXCUBE product setup, parameters, events, accounting roles, and rules.
- Understanding of FLEXCUBE architecture, including database, application, and interfaces.
- Basic technical knowledge of SQL, SOAP/REST, XML, and UNIX/Linux logs.
- Ability to read technical documentation and analyze logs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in production/support environments.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with banking standards such as ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX.
- Oracle FLEXCUBE certifications.
