We are looking for a Junior Android Developer role to join the Omnichannel Unit in the Kaunas office, with an opportunity to work in a hybrid work mode. This unit specializes in delivering comprehensive IT solutions to enhance customer experiences across multiple channels. From mobile apps and self-service platforms to call centers, we work directly with clients to create seamless customer journeys.

As a Junior Android Developer, you will work closely with experienced professionals from the Omnichannel Unit. You will collaborate across the Baltic Amadeus to help our clients speed up and improve the quality of their services. A variety of projects and learning opportunities are guaranteed. What you will do

  • Assist in the development of native Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
  • Work with RESTful web APIs, networking, and handling XML and JSON data formats.
  • Solve technical challenges with guidance from senior developers.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.

What we expect from you

  • Some experience in Android app development (personal, academic, or commercial projects).
  • Familiarity with Kotlin and basic knowledge of Java.
  • Understanding of Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Coroutines, and Flow.
  • Basic knowledge of XML-based UI.
  • Awareness of MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp.
  • Basic understanding of dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and modularization.
  • Ability to ask questions, collaborate, and thirst to continuously improve.
  • Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit, MockK) and UI testing.
  • Version control proficiency with Git.
  • Proficiency in the English language (min B2 level).
