Baltic Amadeus client is looking for a Data Stewards under a B2B (business-to-business) contract to support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives in a banking environment. The role focuses on strengthening regulatory reporting processes, resolving data quality issues, maintaining business glossaries, implementing data quality controls, and contributing to BCBS239-related activities, including data lineage definition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data governance and data management activities across regulatory reporting processes
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve data quality issues
- Maintain and improve business glossaries and data definitions
- Implement and monitor data quality controls
- Define and document data lineage across relevant systems and reporting flows
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Contribute to compliance with BCBS239 and internal data governance standards
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong data analysis capabilities
- Understanding of data warehousing and reporting
- Knowledge of database structures
- Experience with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English, written and spoken
