Role Overview:
Baltic Amadeus client is looking for a Technical Project Manager under a B2B (business-to-business) contract to lead system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and application/data migrations, applying ITIL-aligned change management to deliver projects on time and with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive technical projects covering system decommissioning, infrastructure, and data/application migrations
- Track risks, issues, and mitigation actions across the project lifecycle
- Coordinate dependencies among infrastructure, application, security, data, and vendor workstreams
- Maintain compliant project documentation and ensure seamless handover to operations
- Engage business owners, IT leads, and vendors; provide concise status reports to senior stakeholders
- Develop cut-over and rollback plans, manage UAT, post-migration validation, and hypercare
Must-Have Requirements:
- 5+ years managing complex IT infrastructure and application projects in large enterprises
- Strong grasp of integration dependencies and change management principles
- Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, or equivalent frameworks
- Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and manage vendor deliverables
- Fluent English; clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in insurance or other regulated financial environments
